A Door Beneath the Market
Darlington's Covered Market has stood since the 1860s. Beneath it, a cellar sat quiet for decades. In 2023 we took it on, kept the brick and the shadows, and filled it with good spirits and better company.
We called it The Vault because that's what it feels like — something valuable, kept behind the right door, for the people who know to look.
Made Properly
Our team take drinks seriously and themselves less so. The Archive holds the classics done right; Darlington's Own is where we play — signatures built around this town and this bar.
We pour for the curious. Tell us what you like and we'll find you something you'll remember.
